I LOVE SAILING n my SAILING FRIENDS!

I WENT SAILING TODAY!!!!!

I haven't sailed in a year and i still know how to! OMG!! i was super duper excited when i found out yesterday that we could confirm sail today, and i was so excited i reached tanah merah, our usual meeting place at 9.28am which was 2mins earlier than the reaching time. the rest started streaming in at.....10? hahaha... the usual!!! np sailing culture to be late. the latest came at 11 plus???? hahaha.. but we went to the club first. It was great doing what we used to do on saturday mornings. It was great seeing SAF changi. Brought back so many wonderful regatta memories. haha... seriously i love sailing and i love my sailing friends cos we've been through so much together and we share so many wonderful memories. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!

So anyways, we sailed the afternoon session, and i sailed the BYTE (This boat is usually sailed by sec sch kids. its a smaller class of boat than the laser radial that i usually sail.) I sailed it for the 1st time! and it was GREAT!! even tho there was not much wind and at some points no wind at all, but the feeling of being out in the sun, at sea and in a sail boat with my sailing friends.... it was just a warm and fuzzy, super happy feeling. it feels like i could do this (sail once in a while with them) for the rest of my life. I love it!! I'm sun burned real bad on my arms and shoulders and thighs tho. My mum's gona scold me when she finds out tmr morning, but it was all worth it!

Later after sailing and eating a super filling dinner at bedok hawker centre (the place we usually eat at after trainings last time), went to celebrate lorry's 21st b'day. Made her do all sorts of funny stuff. hahaha... like shout "I am hot and sexy and today is my b'day" and make her dance around the pub. haha... really funny, but she's really such a good sport.

Yep.. my super happening saturday. i deserve it cos i haven't taken public transport the whole of april and i haven't went out with my friends cos i put my life on hold for exams. Today is an exception, cos giving up the chance to sail would be out of the questions especially since my next paper is only on thurs which is 30% and only 6 lectures to study. but of course i still felt the urge to study which was kind of shitty. hahaha...

yeay, so i finally feel like uploading my hall's DnD pictures, which also happens to be the pictures of the pagent i was in. hahaha... Ok so heres pictures of the 5 pairs tt represented their blocks in the pagent.

Geri n Colin did some REALLY amazing dancing. The kind where the girl flies around and legs goinging over ur head kind. Even tho they're both dancers, it was seriously impressive stuff. if only i had a video!

Why don't we ever know what's good for us?

Why don't we ever know what's good for us?

For example:
- I’m writing this and getting distracted from studying, which is bad for my grades.
- Watching TV rather than exercising.
- Eating potato chips instead of fruits.
- Staying up late to watch TV or go clubbing but not to study.
- Taking panadol instead of po chai pills (whahaha this one is biased)
- Going shopping instead of saving money.
- Reading trashy magazines instead of intellectual stuff like Times, Fortune or People.
Blah blah blah the list goes on…

Another thing is… even tho we know what we’re doing might be bad for us, we still do it and then try to justify it.

For example:
- Eating ice-cream makes you fat… BUT eating green tea ice-cream is OK cos green tea has cancer preventing properties.
- Clubbing is bad for health… BUT clubbing can keep you slim cos you get to dance and dancing is a form of exercise.
- Sun tanning can give u skin cancer… BUT sun tanning is the natural way to get vitamin D, instead of taking those man-made pills.
- Watching TV is a waste of time…BUT watching channel 8 can help u learn Chinese and sappy love phrases which might come in handy when you r trying to court or breakup with someone (where did u think “its not you, its me” came from? TV of course!)
